Meeting new people prospecting

There were a lot of mosquitoes and Blair got bit everywhere. Here are three he got on the face.

This younger couple was camped just above us. This is the way they dressed to keep from getting poison Oak . They also ran their dog through the creek really good to get it off of him before taking off their protective clothing and gloves.

The Chinese were brought here in the early 1800's by the Amarican or Chinese slave holders to work the Rivers and Creeks. Here we see a wall built on either side of the creek for water control purposes. The Chinese laborers built their walls meticulously as you see, they have not deteriorated or crumbled after nealy 200 years!

This is the Silver Creek, creek bed. A lot of the foliage on either side of the creek is poison Oak.
